Foreign Subtitles/Translation
In Closed Captions, we display time-synchronized texts on your screen, in an effort to provide the viewers with interpretive information.
We clean up filler words, repetitions, stutters, but indicate non-verbal utterances. e.g. [laughing].
Speaker ID – We put dash (-) whenever the speaker is on-screen, and a name tag in brackets when they are off-screen. The name tag could be the speaker’s real name or job title, depending on the customer’s preference.
Numbers – Digits from zero to nine are spelled out, while numbers 10 and above are written in numerics.
We use ellipsis (…) for false starts or trailed off speech.
